About
Truth or Dare Music’s beginnings stems from the incredible success of Nashville hitmaker Byron Gallimore, the Grammy award winning producer of over 30 number one country hits for superstar Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, JoDee Messina, Lee Ann Womack, Sugarland, and a host of others.
Truth or Dare’s CEO Missi Gallimore was handling the power couple’s publishing interests when the demands of Byron’s studio obligations pushed Missi full on into the A&R arena, where over the past 20 + years, she has built a reputation as one of Nashville’s most highly respected A&R executives, responsible for pairing Tim McGraw with over 30 No. 1 hits, including “I Like It, I Love It” and “Live Like You Were Dying.” She was behind Faith Hill recording “This Kiss” and “Breathe,” and she introduced Keith Urban to the 5x Platinum-selling “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”
But Missi had a longing to take her amazing A&R and publishing talents to the next level, challenging herself during the challenge of Covid to take on her first management client, hit writer and recording artist Shy Carter. Since then, she’s managed the careers of Abbey Cone, and Sam Williams. Even in that difficult time, Missi soon negotiated major label contracts for ALL her artists.
With Publishing and Management moving forward, and the streaming model exploding, Missi and her team discovered the phenomenal young artist / writer Austin Williams. And Truth or Dare Records was born. Adding staff and overseeing marketing, promotion, social media, styling and aesthetics, Missi has taken Truth or Dare to the forefront of Artist Development. Today, Missi and her team are “all in” on every aspect of our artists’ and writers’ careers. For every creative we work with, Missi and her Truth or Dare team want to be the best career decision you’ll ever make.
Chief Operating Officer Steve Bogard brings his vast experience as a songwriter, publisher, producer and tireless songwriter advocate to the Truth or Dare Music team.
